ART2

[ BECOMING UNDONE ]

FEATURING AMBRIN LING

4.18.2019 @ 6pm

free admission | all ages permitted | light refreshments will be served

ART² (art squared) is an experimental event in which SAM invites non-visual artists to enter the museum and present their own interpretation of the works on display. Using graphite, paint, papermaking, and grass stains, HUB-BUB Artist-in-Residence Ambrin Ling will explore the question, “how does the world form itself and how am I allowed to embrace its movement?” (Jean Luc Nancy) especially when drawing entails encroaching on three-dimensional space and things falling apart.

The performance will include live drawing and an artist talk.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
